      STATE ROUTE 154 PAVEMENT PRESERVATION PROJECT CONTINUES NEXT WEEK WITH DAYTIME/OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES

 

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY – Caltrans will continue a pavement preservation project on State Route 154 in various locations from west of Edison Street to the Cold Spring Canyon Bridge with motorists encountering one-way reversing traffic control next week as follows:

 

  • Monday, Sept. 12 through Friday, Sept. 16 during the overnight hours from 7:30 pm until 5:30 am.
  • Monday, Sept. 12 through Thursday, Sept. 15 from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm.
  • Friday, Sept. 16 from 8:30 am until 1 pm.

 

Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 15 minutes.  The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be present to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

 

The contractor for this 9.9 million dollar project is CalPortland of Santa Maria, CA.  This project is expected to complete in April of 2017.

 

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
