California Green Business Network for getting out the word on Small Business Saturday.

Nov 16, 2020

Below is information from the California Green Business Network for getting out the word on Small Business Saturday.  They have put together a lot of graphic resources and messaging for us to use.  If you would like to take advantage of any of this, let me know, and feel free to access the links below.  CAGBN wants us to work with our "Communication Team" on this, and for us that means YOU - all of our partners.

Also last week,  CAGBN sent an email to the large CAGBN-wide email list (including all certified businesses) sharing templates and an opportunity for a free ad with businesses. You can see the newsletter they sent here:

We are hoping some of our local Green Businesses take advantage of this opportunity and we will be sending reminder emails to all of our businesses, as well as posting on Basecamp.

If you have plans for outreach around Small Business Saturday, we'd love to be a part of it.  Please let us know

Small Business Saturday

It's almost Small Business Saturday and we need all hands on deck to help make this year a success. You can play a part in promoting your local Green Businesses and amplifying your GBP. This year, Britny (Long Beach), Kelly (SF), and Jiane (San Benito County) have all helped make awesome designs and copy for social media posts and NextDoor/

Please work with your communications team/platforms to schedule posts the week leading up to Small Business Saturday and on the day of. You can use this template and make it your own and then share away:…
Use hashtags in your posts like #SmallBizSat #ShopSmall #ShopGreen #SupportLocal #SupportSmallBusiness #BuyLocal #GreenBusiness

**POST FOR NEXT DOOR** (You could even modify it for Patch if you're active on there)
Please post this via your jurisdiction's NextDoor (or your team's/personal ones) when you feel is the best timing prior to November 28th, mark your calendar!
