Visit Santa Barbara was the host for Visit California’s Global “China Ready” seminar, which will be conducted in 10 cities throughout California from September to December. The Central Coast session was held at Belmond El Encanto and had nearly 100 attendees including hotels, wineries, restaurants, Central Coast tourism bureaus, retail shops and excursion companies. Representatives from Visit Santa Barbara, Visit California, BRIC Marketing Group and UnionPay International (a Chinese credit card company) all spoke at the seminar, educating attendees on how to make their businesses “China friendly” and how to properly welcome this important No. 1 international market into California. Click here to download a copy of the presentation (password: csrtsb30).
