The Haunt returns for its 24th year with “The
Curse of Skull Mountain” Two terror-ific nights
through abandoned gold and silver mines, a
miner’s camp, the Old West town and more.
If you would like to be a part of this
tremendous community event as a volunteer,

Huntington Library and Gardens
Thu, Sept 21, 8:30am-6pm, $50, Vets Hall
Art and culture set amongst 150 acres of
breathtaking gardens featuring over 14,000
plants. Collections include Gainsborough's
Blue Boy and Lawrence's Pinkie, plus an
original Gutenberg Bible. If you've never been,
take this opportunity to experience one of
Southern California's cultural gems. Extensive
walking required.
Piedras Blancas Lighthouse & Cambria
Thu, Sept 28, 7:30am-5:00pm, $60, Vets Hall
Located on a rugged windswept point just north
of Hearst Castle, the iconic Light Station is a
historic landmark only accessible by special
tour. Bring your binoculars to see wildlife
along with comfortable walking/hiking shoes
as we have about ½ mile of easy walking.
Afterward, a stop for a late lunch on your own
in the quaint village of Cambria. This trip is a
collaborative effort with the Wildling/Elverhoj
Museums and will be accompanied by a
museum curator.
Aquarium of the Pacic
Thu, Dec 7, 8:30am-7:30pm, $71, Vets Hall
Venture behind the scenes and go above their
largest exhibit, Tropical Reef, to feed the fish!
This tour provides a sneak peek into the daily
operations of the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Guests will enter the “wet side” of the
aquarium, a section not normally open to the
public. See what it takes to maintain a world
class aquarium, from water filtration to animal
care and feeding. Learn interesting facts about
the Aquarium of the Pacific's 11,000 animals.
Lunch on your own at nearby restaurants. This
trip is a collaborative effort with the
Wildling/Elverhoj Museums and will be
accompanied by a museum curator.
